Allied Gives Back To The Community

On Saturday, February 6th Allied sponsored Project Downtown by providing 250 homeless people with a warm meal. The mission of Project Downtown is to provide everyday essentials for the homeless and disadvantaged segments of our community. It was also created to encourage and minister to these people. The goal is to provide a helping hand, without expecting anything back.

What sets Project Downtown apart are the volunteers, who aspire to make a positive difference. Project Downtown does not just feed people, it embraces each person with acceptance, a conversation, and a friendly smile. With only a few students involved, and little resources, they serve every Saturday in various South Florida locations. This initiative has motivated the community to give back, and to view the homeless population in a different light.
