PROJECT OVERVIEW
Moon River Marine Corporation Steel Building
Ontario Steel Buildings
Moon River Marine Corporation
Chris Holmes has had quite a schedule with his company Moon River Marine Corporation.
Holmes realized that he needed a large building to store the 2005 crept boats. He decided to do some research and found an advertisement from Allied Steel Buildings.
“It was my first time researching steel buildings so of course I was skeptical. All I cared about was getting something that was going to help me with my business, and Allied Steel did their part.”
Holmes took a chance and purchased a mammoth 100 by 180 foot structure that had an eave height of 24 feet with two 16 by 18 foot openings in December 2005. “Allied was great in making sure that I had what I needed. We had some screws for the siding and the roof missing, but Mitch and Rick at Building Services took care of us.”
Glen Macintire and Dalron Construction erected the building in about three weeks during a particularly snowy February in 2006. It was completed by the first of March with little delay.
“Glen is a handy man,” according to Holmes. “If he says three inches to the right, it’s precisely that. I was quite pleased with the entire process, cold weather and all.”
Holmes has been impressed with the building from Allied Steel, and plans to buy another one. “I want to attach something to the front of what we have now. I trust Allied Steel because they really know what they’re doing with these buildings. They’ve just been phenomenal, and I would absolutely refer them again and again.”
